"Each Will Point can raise back D2 life points worth of lost Restless models. When raising back lost life points or models upon a piece worth over 1 Diamond or 1 Star deduct -1 from the result of the D2 rolled to restore a piece."
Isn't that effectively the same as diamond and star pieces recovering a life point on a 4+?
What if Deja Vu...
Meant I lost a life and started back at the last checkpoint?

Yes, but it doesnt matter now as Tom bless his little heart found a huge floor in the system. So I will just have to have another think about it. You guys are welcome to have a go, but I want it to be a simple system.

What about just a minor rule change to cover it that is effectively tagged on to revenant, such as this:

"When spending will points to raise a piece, the unit recovers one life point for each successful roll of a 4+."

And then a special rule that acts as an override for the specific units required.

Soulless husks:
Some warriors raised up are barely there at all, their souls long since deserting their bones, making the process of standing them up to march on in death little more than a thought.

"pieces with this special rule recover D2 life points per will point spent, instead of the normal requirements. Any characters that join this unit don't benefit from these rules"
What if Deja Vu...
Meant I lost a life and started back at the last checkpoint?

Ok so how about this instead for raising back the Restless? Btw, the Meek are 0.5◆. So the Meek would not suffer the -1 penalty on the chart.

I like the blurb :) and it would work as a rule, but I think most Restless Pieces would have this rule. So it might be better to have the D2 as the standard value for raising back the dead and have a rule which makes elite pieces much harder to raise back instead.

Yeah, but after Trish's comment, I was also playing around with this system as well. So all the pieces in the Restless Army would have a Rating indicating how difficult they would be to raise back in this system. What do you think?
