House Luking

    Hi everyone,

    Happy New Year to you and I hope you had a great Christmas Break! Sorry I have not been posting for a while, but you know how it is… Family and Friend stuff tends to get in the way at this time of year.

    Anyway, here is your first look at the Luking Vampire House:

    During his time upon the Mortal Plain the Blood King was one of the world’s most powerful mages. He was the one who plunged Evernight into internal darkness, and it is the House of Luking that inherited his great magical abilities.

    All of the House Luking’s members are magic casters. They prefer art of Necromancy over all other disciplines of magic and will raise up hordes of undead to fight their wars for them.

    House Luking is the smallest out of all the other great houses, because they only select the brightest of their people to join their family. Otherwise, House Luking is very disconnected from their people. Generally they treat them with disdain, as they see them as live stock to be managed, nothing more or less.

    House Luking are going to be the most Necromancer like in all the Evernight codex and will be able to use Necromancer Magic. And they will be able to construct their own Abominations:

    You haven’t posted the lords stats Dave.
    Instead you’ve posted the abomination table twice.
    Also one ability i think you could fit in for house luking is something like “essence drain” when the cast a spell they regenerate back LP equal to half the damage inflicted rounded up

    Woops… I will have fix that, thanks.

    Good idea. That could be a Necromancer Spell or we could look at giving them the ability to drain life around them to turn it in to magic dice.

    Ok yeah it could do that. I can see them being very strong magic casters

    Yeah… really good, but they will have relatively weak stats compared to other vampires.

    I agree, looking at them the last thing they want is to be in close combat

    Yeah, but they are not too bad in combat. Really they are on par with a Garrison Master. So they should be able to hold their own against low tear infantry, but your right, they should stay well away from anything more challenging than that.

    Yeah I see what you mean.
    Interesting when you compare them to the other vampires
